Don't be fooled by the name of this establishment, Bernie does not really repair RVs.
When I pulled up I could have sworn I had passed through a portal that took me all the way back to Southwestern Arkansas. I mean, the sheer amount of rebel flags was astonishing. But, that is beside the point, I suppose.
Needed a hot water heater valve checked. Stopped and Bernie fixed it right away. This was on a 5th wheel travel trailer. Cost $20.00.Back on our way to the mountains.

Bernie and his daughter said they'd take a look to see what the problem was, but they never actually did. They said the engine was too hot and wanted to wait for it to cool a bit, but they never came back. Meanwhile, a child, either Bernie's or his daughter's was running amok, getting into my RV, taking the hot water heater panel off, opening my storage doors, etc.
I'm a full time RVer, traveling with my wife and 7 year old son. Today the RV was running way hotter than normal, so we pulled off the interstate and found that we had a MAJOR coolant leak somewhere down the line. Realizing it was out of my wheelhouse, I got on Google and was surprised to find that there was an RV repair shop less than a mile from where I was. What luck, I thought, so I headed down.
I still don't know what Bernie actually repairs...
I walked in and gave Bernie a run down of my problem, to which he responded, "well, I don't really do any engine work on RVs." I was convinced I misheard him, but I did not. This RV repair shop does not actually repair RVs, other than cosmetically, I guess. When I pulled up they were hot-gluing something back onto a 5th wheel.
